The Women's Hair Loss Seminar is a national tour bringing awareness to women's hair loss with Raleigh being the first visit to North Carolina. The purpose of this seminar is to provide education and solutions to women suffering any kind of hair loss from thinning hair to severe hairloss caused by hereditary or medical reasons.

Losing her hair at age 11, Kayla Martell went on to fulfill her life dream of becoming Miss Delaware and a finalist in Miss America Pageant. Being a teenager is difficult; being a bald teenager is definitely challenging. Her Mother was instrumental in building her self-esteem. She actually entered and competed in Miss Delaware without hair, but later learned from a judge that her best chances would be if she did something about her hair. Kayla found her hair loss solution and after several attempts, won the crown. She jokingly speaks about needing hair to pin on the crown!
More than thirty million women in the USA suffer from noticeable hair loss. Women's hair loss is far more complex than men's, with many more reasons often tied to hormones, medical treatments, over-processing hair, nutritional deficiencies, Trichotillomania, or genetics.
